Every purchase helps preserve the traditional weaving of the Wayuu people, supporting fair wages, education, and sustainable materials.

The Story Behind Costal Sands

Subtle blues flow through warm, sandy tones, echoing the Wayuu homeland where desert meets sea. In Wayuu weaving, geometry is a language—each line and angle tied to memory, belief, and everyday life.

This pair began with a single weaver at her home loom in La Guajira, placing each thread by hand to create a balanced, calming pattern. When the panel was finished, our small‑batch partners in Colombia hand‑cut and stitched it into sand‑beige leather, adding a cushioned insole and a durable sole for easy, everyday wear.

Your purchase supports Wayuu artisans and their families, helping preserve a living tradition and create sustainable opportunities—one story‑rich pair at a time.
